Student Assistants -- Environmental Planning
Student Assistant– Environmental Planning
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is
seeking a student assistant to assist the Department’s Environmental Planning Unit in its environmental reviews of prison capacity and other capital improvement projects. This is a great opportunity for a student majoring in environmental studies or a closely related field, who is seeking a career in environmental planning. You would assist environmental planning staff with administrative tasks associated with activities such as: resources agency coordination (i.e., Department of Fish and Game, U.S. Corps of Engineers, and Office of Historic Preservation), mitigation monitoring for cultural and biological resources, and California Environmental Quality Act compliance.
Opportunity for challenging assignments, increasing responsibility,
and applied environmental planning experience.
