When you are dealing with a major health issue, and still trying to keep a positive attitude, sometimes you can feel like "Eeyore in a Tigger Suit." While you try very hard to be happy, positive and cheerful on the outside, you often feel awfully gloomy on the inside. (For more ideas on how to keep a positive attitude, see my Pooh Page.)
For many years now I have been struggling with infertility and chronic pelvic pain, caused by endometriosis, benign fibroid tumors, and adhesions resulting from previous surgeries. And since 2001, an arthritis condition triggered by Lupron treatments.
Through the wonders of the world wide web I have been able to research my condition, finding information to share and discuss with my Doctors. I have also been able connect with other women experiencing the same things, make new friends, and support each other.
This page is a place for me to share the information I found. I hope it will help you too!

Medscape One of the best overall sites that Doctors use!
PubMed at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health) is a great place to look up medical research.
The Endometriosis Association Another non-profit I support through payroll deduction. May they find a cure!
The International Adhesions Society is another resource.
Dr. N 4 U has great information on menopause and hysterectomy.
WebMD is also a great source of information and articles.
If you do research online you will need a Medical Dictionary to understand what you read!
Pain Scales: Randall Chronic Pain Scale, Mankowski Pain Scale,
Information on Medication: RxList.com
You DESERVE to be treated with respect and compassion -- and you have the right to fight for the treatment you deserve.
Endometriosis Interactive Information and Support. Connecting with other women struggling with Endometriosis, Fibroids and Adhesions makes all the difference in battling chronic disease.
And if you are facing the "Big H" the HysterSisters community provides both information and support.
My personal health story has grown into a long tale -- so I have moved it to it's own page. However, I feel it is important thatI share it here with you -- so that perhaps you can find the information and proper treatment you need sooner than I did.
