Week 8 - When Every Puppy Needs a Person

This is the bitter-sweet week when we realize how much we love each and every puppy. People always ask "which is your favorite?" -- and it is impossible to choose! The answer is "It depends. What kind of dog are you looking for? Each puppy has its own sweet and wonderful personality."(See the M pUpDates pages for a description of each puppy.)

This is also the week when they want time with people more than they do with mom, or even food! They light up with one-on-one play, or cuddles, or even when you just talk to them. But we BC's are so busy rounding up romping puppies, feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, refilling their water dishes, catching escapees -- that we simply don't have the time or enough hands to give them each the attention they need.

This is why it is possible to turn them in -- knowing that in just a few days each and every one of them will be in their new homes, in the arms of a loving Puppy Raiser, who is more than ready to give them the love, time and attnetion they need!
