Personality:Once she could see and hear she, like Hilo, would cry when settling down to sleep. She'd also whimper when finding a spot to "hurry." At first we worried by her aggressive play -- she'd bite down and not let go -- even when the other puppy would cry out. But strangely, she'd also lay on her back and let the others bite on her, two or more at a time. She seemed to learn from the other puppies that this kind of hard biting was not acceptable, and after that first week, she hasn't done it since! Good girl!
Hilani is really a sister-twin to Hilo in looks and personality. She's tough but sweet. She loves to cuddle and give soft kisses. Her first time in the crate, she cried a bit then settled down. She likes puppy biscuits and carrots to chew on (since she's learned not to chew on her siblings). She's always the first one at the edge of the pen waiting to be picked up -- living up to her name: a beloved child carried in the arms.
