Waste Reduction/ Recycling Coordinator or Waste Reduction/ Recycling Specialist

Oversee hazardous waste collection events; promote public
awareness and education programs; manage
the day-to-day activities involved with solid
waste reduction programs and recycling efforts.
This position will be filled at either level dependent
upon the candidates qualifications. The Waste
Reduction Services Coordinator will perform the
duties of the Recycling Specialist but with an
increased level of responsibility. This would include
contract, grant and budget management,
preparing and presenting Board of Supervisors
reports and acting as liaison for other governmental
agencies.
