Lara is a doctoral candiate in the Graduate Group in Ecology at the University of California, Davis. She is studying the effect of environmental stresses on anuran populations. Her primary focus is ultraviolet radiation, however she regularly delves into the realm of metals and pesticides. In addition to frogs she is fascinated by penguins.
